JCA manufactures premium needlecraft products and distributes fine knitting yarns. We are an amalgamation of three companies-Paternayan Brothers (started in 1939), Elsa Williams (started in 1960) and Reynolds Yarns (also started in 1960).

Located in North Central Massachusetts, just minutes from the New Hampshire line, our facilities include light manufacturing for needlecraft kits, as well as winding and dyeing facilities for needlepoint yarns, cotton yarns for cross stitch and certain knitting yarns. We also contract dye for many of the leading knit manufacturers in the United States.

Our products include Paternayan Persian Yarn, available in 418 shades, the standard yarn used by both needlepointers and Persian rug repairers worldwide to our needlecraft kits, available in cross stitch, crewel embroidery as well as needlepoint. Our kits are manufactured under the Elsa Williams, Needle Treasures and Weekenders brand names. We also carry a wide selection of knitting yarns, including the famous LOPI yarn from Iceland.
